Facilities Supervisor

At Panasonic since November 1995

Born in Columbus, Georgia and raised a few miles away in Harris County, I’m proud to be from the local area and still call Columbus home today. I am blessed with a son Christopher and daughter Lauren. Lauren and her husband have made me a proud granddad to my grandchildren, Levi and Lily. I am also engaged to Melody, a wonderful school teacher.

Family is important to me and I also have a passion for nature. As an outdoor enthusiast, I enjoy spending my free time outside. Whether it is by the ocean or up in the mountains, the gorgeous scenery recharges my batteries.

After completing high school I became a certified welder through the welding program at Columbus Tech. My first few jobs in the work force were welding related, which lead to an opportunity to enter the maintenance field. In November of 1995 I started as a Maintenance Mechanic II at Panasonic in the Lithium Division. Like me, this division was new and I welcomed the opportunity to learn and grow with the company.

Throughout my time at Panasonic, I was given the experience, training and education needed to advance and am currently the Facilities Supervisor. During a typical day my priorities include scheduling maintenance personnel needed to meet the required process equipment for production and the facility, while also managing the parts and supplies necessary to operate the facilities efficiently and effectively. I enjoy what I do and look forward to the new adventures that each day brings.

Without a doubt, working in the Lithium Division at Panasonic has been the best career experience I have ever had. As the company grows, so do the challenges. Taking on a difficult task and making a breakthrough with your team while working on that project is one of the most rewarding experiences. Reaching that pivotal point and feeling the rush of a new accomplishment is what motivates me. The people, projects and opportunity for growth are what makes Panasonic such a great place to work at.
