Gary

Sales Manager

At Panasonic since November 2000

I was born and raised in “the Ocean State” – Rhode Island and currently live in Warren, which is close to where I grew up. My beautiful wife Chris and I have been blissfully married for thirty-three years and have two wonderful adult children, Erica and Joshua.

When I am not traveling for work, I enjoy playing a round of golf (when the weather allows) and creating woodworking projects around my home. I am very proud of my New England community and served as Little League President and coached Little League baseball and CYO basketball for many years.

Prior to joining Panasonic in 2000, I worked for several national packaged consumer goods companies. While I wished to remain in sales, I desired a more challenging career. I found an opportunity with Panasonic and began as an Account Manager. In this position, I covered all classes of trade in New England and upstate New York and had a short stint on the Industrial team. Five years later, I was promoted to Sales Manager and accepted responsibility for the Distributor Business Unit. Now, ten years later, I am currently managing the northeast territory for the United States as well as our convenience business in the southeast. What can I say, I love to travel!

Throughout my career with Panasonic, I have had the pleasure of working with many different people. One of my favorite things about this job is the interaction I have with my coworkers, brokers and in particular, my customers. I have sustained lifelong friendships thanks to my employment with Panasonic.

Selling batteries requires a unique skill set and is very challenging due to the fierce competition in the market. One of the most important lessons I have learned from Panasonic is how to meet this challenge head on. No words can describe the gratification experienced when landing a big account and maintaining customer satisfaction. The last sixteen years have been instrumental in my career path and I look forward to many more.
